About us:

Asia Volunteer Network (AVN) is a non-governmental organization and non-profit organization based in Cambodia. AVN was founded by and employs only native Cambodians. Our office is right in the heart of Phnom Penh making it easy for us to stay in close contact with our volunteers and ensure they are having an amazing experience.

Cambodia is a beautiful country with many issues that require the skills of international volunteers to help solve. Instead of charging large volunteering fees, we at Asia Volunteer Network require only the bare minimum the cover our volunteers' accommodation and meal expenses. We value impact more so than profit.

Volunteering with Asia Volunteer Network:

At Asia Volunteer Network we provide responsible and affordable volunteer programs throughout Cambodia. We have over 40 projects in different fields including medical, microfinance, communities development, teaching English, caregiving and caring for disabled children.

We invite volunteers from all over the world to come to Cambodia and Asia Volunteer Network and to learn about development issues and culture by providing their skills, interest and time to a local organization. Volunteers will be placed in one of our partner organizations all over Cambodia based on their field of interest.

We support our volunteers with pre-departure information, guidance, accommodation, an orientation before start working and mentoring during stay. We work for responsible volunteering.

Safety:

Safety is our highest priority for all projects and in every aspect of the program. Therefore, we provide project details, guidance, and an orientation before you start working and mentoring during your stay. We organize the program from the beginning to the end of the program.

Furthermore, our office is in the center of Phnom Penh, right where our volunteers work and our volunteer guest houses are located in safe, convenient areas. In addition, we provided 24 hour emergency contact for the duration of your volunteer program and our staff will give supervision of any activities you are involved and need support.
