Take up this amazing opportunity to volunteer with horses, cows, sheep, goats and other animals at a rescue Sanctuary located in Santa Clarita, California! Become a volunteer now and work along an amazing team in their daily activities of rescuing abused, sick, neglected and old animals!
Though rescuing is a major objective of the project, they also have another key role which is grooming, caring and nurturing the animals back to their stronger selves. when the animals are fully healed, they then heal and give inspiration to the lives of abused children. All the while you will live in this amazing area of California!
The Project is very interested in having dedicated and committed volunteers to assist with the many tasks and activities at the sanctuary. For a stay of 4 weeks or more you’ll not only have the chance of working with horses but also working with a wide range of other animals such as; donkeys, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, turkeys, chickens, llamas, peacocks, emus, cats and dogs. The project also prefers their volunteers to have an all-rounded experience therefore, you may also be tasked with; office work, grounds work, filling in the barnyard, assisting with field trips, and helping with any events or rescues happening at the time. The work can be physically demanding and it is by no means an easy ‘Holiday Option’! It can be a bit challenging but the feeling that comes after is rewarding! Come now and work towards this worthwhile cause!
Volunteers will volunteer alongside local staff who will train you as well as international and local volunteers.
