The organization was established in 2008 to support the poor kids in the community we live in.

Who we are

Safisha Africa Welfare Foundation was established in 2008 and registered  in 2010 as a non governmental organization  to support the children from poor families who needed to get help for free education.

What we do

The organization caters for the education of the poor kids who are orphans and whose guardians are poor to support their education in profit making schools.We do the following to make the kids access education;-Provide free education to children from poor families

Provide education materials such as text books,exercise books and pens
To provide for education facilities as uniforms,sweaters and shoes
To offer feeding program for those children who have either one or no meals at all  as energy giving
Where we work
We work in the urban city of Nairobi in Mowlem settlement area of Nairobi .The area is safe we have worked for ten years with volunteers from all over the world and have not experienced any problem of safety.
Healthy requirements                                                                                                                                                                                                                          It is only in Kenya a volunteer can come without vaccination requirements.If a volunteer will go to Tanzania then healthy requirements are needed.

We are looking for volunteers  who are senior citizens,Teens and high school,Family and Groups,Gap year and first time travelers

Social Impact

Achievements.

Safisha Africa Welfare Foundation as a non governmental and non profit has helped over 1000 poor kids access quality and free education in the settlement area we serve.The organization with a mandate of establishing schools has established a Safisha Africa School to enroll and facilitate for the kids to have access to free education.The orphans,vulnerable of all challenges have been helped at the organization.The kids from 3 years -13 years old  find hope in the  School where there in no child left.Currently those receiving free education,feeding program,education materials and uniforms are 78 children. .

The organization pays for the four teachers and recruits volunteers internationally every month apart from holidays .
We have recruited more than  1,500 volunteers and have worked with them well through our website.
Sociol Impact of our organization
The organization has impacted the community we work in and helped many orphans and street children back to school.
With the help of the volunteers kids have been able to get  free uniforms,feeding program,writing materials and tuition.
We have kept the kids in school acquiring the best education and leave alone getting medical attention when they are sick and have no one to take them to a good hospital.The organization has taken the responsibility of paying medical bills and livelihood for those who have been vacated from houses they stay in without rent payments.
