Volunteer for a marine eco-tour company in South Africa and learn all about the marine environment and the importance of marine conservation

The Baywatch Project was established in 1992 with the following objectives: To educate the community, especially the youth, about the marine environment and the need for its conservation and protection, assist organisations responsible for marine law enforcement and marine research, and to undertake our own independent research.

Social Impact

We are constantly working at trying to conserve the marine environment, specifically the marine creatures we find in Algoa Bay. The main research project and conservation work we're doing at the moment is to save the African penguin from extinction!
