The Volunteer Vietnam team is well organized and each member has experience in working with volunteers. Volunteers are given a weekly schedule of their work times and activities. Volunteers will have a meeting each day with the Volunteer Vietnam healthcare team member to discuss the activities planned for the following day.
Healthcare programs take place at 3 sites:
Children’s Home – caring for babies, playing
with toddlers and caring for disabled children
Social Support Center – exercises and activities for the elderly, dance and yoga classes, walking with the disabled young adults, playing soccer with the residents, taking residents on an outdoor activity such as swimming, going to the park or the pagoda
School for Disabled Children – outdoor sessions to motivate teamwork and encourage physical activity; classroom educational activities

We accommodate volunteers in a volunteer house called the Green House. The house is located 04 km from the city center. It is nearby the placement sites Social Support Center, the kindergarten schools and the school for the special needs children. It is a three storey house and there are 05 bedrooms equipped with AC, private toilets and bathrooms. Downstairs, there is a living room and kitchen area where the volunteers have meetings and meals. There is wifi internet, cable TV and laundry facilities. Some of our staff live in the house and are available to help you fix things or give necessary guidance.
Volunteers are provided 03 meals per day from Monday to Friday plus breakfast on Saturday morning by our cook Mrs. Hai.
