Volunteers usually visit the town centre which has a lot of museums and beautiful churches. Besides museums and churches, volunteers can also visit the Teleferico in Quito. It is a cable car that leads you just a few hours on foot the Pichincha volcano. Another touristic atraction that is located near from Quito is the Pululahua crater. Volunteers should also visit the Panecillo and the middle of the world monument . Other touristic places that we recommend are Quilotoa lake, San Pablo lake, Cotopaxi national park ,Antisana ecological reserve, Otavalo,Mindo, and Baños.
