Likoni orphanage whose basis of formation being to care and protect orphans both affected and infected by HIV/AIDS epidemic, abandoned, neglected and the less privileged children in the society. It was founded in the year 2000 after bearing witness to vulnerable children languishing in the corridors of the sprawling slum of Timbwani. It was by then that the vision of being rays of hope for African children came to birth.
Below are the mentioned programs;
Usual working days are Monday - Saturday from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM including the following activities.
Volunteers will be accommodated with a host family or within the project where a room will be provided with bedding. Toilets and bath shelters are all available.
Volunteers will be provided with breakfast, lunch and dinner in the host family. But sometimes volunteers will have their lunch at the project site or will carry a packed lunch.
Alcoholic and soft drinks are not provided.
Volunteers are allowed to join this project any time of the year
