Cannan Orphanage was started in the year 2010 as a homestyle shelter and was shortly after registered in 2011 as an orphanage. After caring for young children and orphans in a home, the only solution was to look for a place that is spacious, safe and with at least one room where children could study and sleep well. The children welfare now had to come first. Starting the orphanage became a priority and we registered it.
We want to become a leading charitable organization in providing child care and support to orphans.
We want to promote behavioral change among the orphans and support them to be responsible members of the society through education, healthcare counseling and prepare them spiritually for the challenges in life. The home has 30 children at the moment with seven staff members offering services to help in the daily growth of these children.
