A volunteer is picked up from the Airport on arrival by two or more of our staffs. It is an hour drive from the airport to the project and this service is available no matter the time of arrival at the airport.
At a host family a 10x10 room is provided. The bathroom can either be inside the house or outside depending on each host family. And cooking is done using charcoal on a charcoal stove. In all our host families there is a water supply and that is the tap system however when there is a problem with the main government water supply system water is gotten from the well.
We serve breakfast that is tea or porridge and eats Lunch which is always local foods that is rice, Matooke, Posho, sweet potatoes, Cassava, Yams which is served with Meat, groundnuts, beans and vegetables as sauce. For supper the volunteer will choose either to eat with the host family or still have the meal here at Trust Future Uganda.
