About the program

Early stimulation and care of babies and children under 3 years of age: Support for educators, caregivers and managers in stimulation centers for the comprehensive development of children.
Early stimulation helps to strengthen the body and develop the emotions and intelligence of minors. The activities are very easy to do and can be integrated into daily play.


There are several benefits and advantages that early stimulation brings to children. The volunteer will help carry out all the activities to the best of their abilities.
  • You'll motivate children to acquire new knowledge that favors their autonomy and self-confidence.
  • You'll create greater emotional ties between the parents and the baby/child.
  • You'll help in the socialization processes and you will create special bonds with each one of them.

In the mornings at 8:00 hrs, attend the center or project for instructions and referral of cases, then accompany the person in charge of caring for babies and children, and help carry out the specific activities. In the mornings at 8:00 hrs, attend the center or project for instructions and referral of cases, then accompany the person in charge of caring for babies and children, and help carry out the specific activities. At noon after work at 13:00 hrs you can do other free time activities or you have the option to participate in a second project.

  • Santa Rosa de Ocopa, the oldest monastery in the region (also featuring the largest library, with 25.000 ancient books)

 We are surrounded by many tourist attractions such as:

During your stay you can also share your free time in several activities in our local institutions enjoying an intercultural experience where you can share and realize your own dreams, practice your career or learn new things like the ones listed below.

In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.

Volunteer residence: It is a pleasant place where volunteers from different parts of the world live together, very accessible from the city center, it has shared bedrooms, bathroom with hot water, living room and full kitchen, wi-fi and international television.
