Highlights

One of the largest Schools in Africa for children with special needs from impoverished backgrounds
Part of a centre of excellence that also provides education as well as a home for the children
Whilst also providing a loving and caring environment through the provision of healthcare through Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Alternative Medicenes and Doctors and Nurses
We believe in sustainability and therefore constantly look for innovative techniques within our means to improve our methods of teaching the children to keep up with the changing needs of the world.
All this whilst being able to enjoy living a stone throw from the beautiful coast of Kenya.
Our aim is to empower our students with knowledge and skills that will help them for life. We therefore also consider the health and wellbeing of our children important. This volunteer program is especially suitable for:
Age 18+
Singles
Couples
Families
Groups
50+
Wheel Chairs
Our aim is to empower our students with knowledge and skills for the betterment of their lives. Given that the children are challenged learners, we try to use different techniques to make learning more practical and fun for the children. Along with a primary and secondary school, we also have a dedicated vocational training school where our students can gain skills that they can perhaps use to improve and possibly even sustain their own lives. Some of the programs on our vocational training schemes include carpentry, tailoring and agriculture and landscaping.

We also consider the health and well-being of our children to be important. Therefore, besides teaching, we also look forward to welcoming enthusiastic and passionate volunteers who can help out with all different kinds of activities that can help with the development of our children including
Music & Singing,
Arts & Crafts,
Physical Education,
Physiotherapy,
Occupational therapy,
Agriculture and Landscaping
Yoga
any forms of Alternative Therapies.
