Age 18+

Background: The soccer trainer volunteer will have the opportunity to work and have fun training Olasiti football team, he or she will be responsible to develop and implement a soccer training program for the children and youth. This is very important because the children will be able to leave the street and do something good for their life, as it is the sport and the healthy life. This is because the social issues that the community have like poverty and lack of education, so to solve this the volunteer will also teach good manners and values so that they learn to disburse in the future.

The teams: There are two team, the volunteer will work with the young team that have 25 kids whose age range from 8 to 15 years. The other is the youth team that have 25 people whose age range are from 16 to 21 years old, with which you can participate in their training and you can play official and friendly matches, which are very entertaining because the community loves football, so they attend all matches.

The project: The volunteer will oversee the physical training and a health program, in which will teach them the importance of good nutrition to keep them healthy. For these, the volunteer will count with the help of the actual coach that will help you with the translation (English/Swahili) and will also have a manual with all the information of the team, such as the names of the players, age, position and the formation of the current first team. Another task will be to create a campaign to gather donations and to be able to buy the necessary equipment to train in a better way. The volunteer will have to report the attendant of each kid with his individual progress and keep a report of any incident/accident or any other concerns to the in the team’s report.

How it works: the volunteer will work with the current coach of the team which has a fluent English, so that together they will create the routines and keep the records of the players.

We hope that the volunteer has a lot of motivation to be able to give his/her experience to the youngest, this does not mean that we are looking for a professional, just someone who likes football and wants to teach children training, values and healthy life so they can improve their future.

About us, we will be the best friend you can have in the country, we will help you in everything you want to do and we will always be everything you need.
