Girl Child and Women Empowerment Project will challenge you and help you realize your potential. You’ll get direct insight into global legal practices that very many of the Females in Uganda pass through in their day to day life and they are denied their human rights. You’ll learn from experienced professionals in real-world situations.
Most of us sometimes take human rights and access to legal advice for granted. There are many people around the world who do not have access to these rights; whose voices are not heard and causes are not championed. As a Volunteer, you can work with us anytime to change this.
You can provide legal aid to those who really need it. Or, you can help protect human rights and bring about change in the community where we work. Choose to work at our Foundations and you can specialize in human rights work, or campaigns for social justice.
As a Volunteer at Hearts For Hope Africa we shall give you hands-on work experience you might not have access to back home. If you’re a teen exploring law as a potential career, your also welcome at our Foundation.
There is also a great social element to our programmes. We put you in touch with all your fellow volunteers via Facebook / WhatsApp before you set off so that you can be confident of where your heading to. Our projects receive volunteers from around the world throughout the year, so even if you’re travelling solo, you’re going to meet heaps of people along the way. Plus you’ll have plenty of opportunities to travel the country with your new found travel buddies – it’s all part of the Hearts For Hope Africa experience!
So if you’re thinking of doing something a bit different on your next trip abroad, then why not drop us a line and find out what extraordinary things you could be doing.
