Uganda has a very big number of farmers who are experiencing hardship when it comes to Agricultural Farming because of the basic local types of Farming used. In return this increases the number of small scale farmers and the country hence having a minimal number of farmer at large scale.

As people see and believe that farming is for only the uneducated or a sign of poverty hence its typically headed by men who have low levels of education yet maintain an optimistic viewpoint on their future.

Small-scale farmers comprise of the greatest density concentrated in the Western and Eastern regions of the Uganda. Less than one-quarter (23 percent) of the country’s population are concentrated in the Northern region, where national statistics show the highest poverty levels, leaving the smallest population of small-scale farmers in the Central region (16 percent), which is the most economically thriving part of the country. A man is three times as likely to be the head of a smallholder farming household as is a woman (77 percent men vs. 23 percent women).

As an Organization we look at boosting the farming skills our local farmers are helped by teaching them the benefits of modern farming skills and the use of the various modern farming machines.

All this is done through the Organization’s demonstration farm that have put in place with modern farming machines, various plants types, how to make home-made fertilizers, chemical, pesticides, herbicides and insecticides so as to reduce of the cost farmers spend on purchasing them.

The greatest challenge we have as the Organization is that we have a minimal number of machines to help in modern farming for that matter we highly welcome anyone who wishes to support our local farmers by shifting from local home gardening to commercial large scale farming.

For anyone who wishes to join us is as a Volunteer is encouraged  and advised to bring some light and thick clothes for hot and relatively cold season that may happen both in the same day. Well as mosquito repellents for the case of camping.

We need committed volunteers because our volunteers a times work from remote areas and a times suburbs so those areas may a times need someone who is committed to help.

While at the Foundation volunteers shall be staying at the Director's residence that is 14 miles from Kampala along Hoima highway and will be helped by the volunteer coordinator at the foundation.

Volunteers while coming need to come with light clothes, some sweaters for the rainy season and mosquito repellents for camping since in Uganda our climate is Equatorial it can rain and shine in the same day.

At our foundation are essential urgent needs lie in scholastic materials, reading books, clothing, hand work machines like {sewing machines, used/new computers, hair dryers and so many more machines}.

As the Foundation we can provide volunteers with discounted safari travel to all part of Uganda, free accommodation, volunteering experience, African life exposure and so many more.

On the volunteer's leave they are awarded an Appreciation certificate.
