Age 18+

For the last 5 years, we have been initiating a small NGO project (Lovely Nepal) in order to support our local communities who suffered after the earthquake. The first part of this project will occur between 8th and 22nd April but it will continue during the following months.

In 2019 our project ended with great success. Thanks to donations and volunteers we were able to:
  • paint the new school which was rebuilt after the earthquake,
  • provide 45 school uniforms and shoes for all children so they can attend the class,
  • give the school supplies like books, pens, pencils, balls, etc.
  • we implemented with the local youth club the rubbish collection in the village as well as provided the dust bins for each household.
THIS YEAR our aim is to
- provide more than 45 school bag packs which will be made by the local tailor. As we will be using the local business , by supporting us you will not only help children but also help the village business/ community;
- as every year providing school supplies (notepads, pens, balls, books, etc.);
- distributing second-hand clothes that we are collecting in Luxembourg, Brittany, and Annecy.

THEREFORE we need volunteers to help us to make this happen. Our volunteers will have insight into how the money from donations is spent and will be able to help distribute everything and organize everything on the side.

Part of the program is to learn about our Nepalese culture, therefore, all volunteers attending in April on the top of helping will have a chance to hike and be the part of the amazing 3 days rafting trip and of course do the Kathmandu sightseeing.

Typical day

Every day will be a bit different. For the project in April it will look like that:

Manasalu (the 8th highest peak in the world);
