Production of material for publication and pictures for Superlearner This volunteer program is especially suitable for:
Singles
Couples

Superlearner is an organzation that works in the very poor district Pamplona Alta in Lima, providing formal and non-formal education for the children in two communities. Many of the children there feel that they can‘t rise above their circumstances and that they feel unworthy.  By working with them we empower the children so that they can achieve their dreams one day. As we are a very young and small organization, we still need to extend our operation range to reach more people. By creating flyers or brochures, doing social media management or other work, the volunteer can help us to get more people involved. For the classes, the volunteer can also do designs for the material we need.

Mission: The volunteer is responsible for the production of flyers, brochures, images, documents or other material that requires the intervention of a graphic designer, for the publication of issues linked to the NGO, fundraising, development of the educational activities and update of the website, social media etc.

Unfortunately, we can‘t provide accommodation for volunteers at the moment, but we can help to find a good place in a save neighborhood in Lima.

The volunteer will be working with Jorge, the founder of the project, and other volunteers.

The volunteers are expected to adapt to a different cultural background, be able to work in a team and be puntual for meetings. It is essential to bring a personal device like a laptop or tablet and have some skills in graphic designing.

General tasks:
  • Preparation of educational or proclamational material
  • Participation in the meetings to coordinate the teamwork
  • Social media management to raise the people‘s awareness for the topics of intervention of the organization and for the fundraising
There are special conditions for this program: all material which is produced during the volunteer time belongs to the NGO and must not be personally used for the volunteer.

Typical day

The volunteer will work five days a week for about five hours a day. The working schedule can be flexible if the volunteer needs it or can work autonomously, but we encourage the team to meet in the morning between 8am and 1pm.

Details on Arrival

There are no specific arrival dates. The volunteers can join throughout the whole year.
