Camp Habiba Community combines education and work in permaculture and restoration of the natural system with a very pleasant place to stay.
Habiba Community aims to help local communities introduce regenerative agricultural techniques, stop erosion and further desertification, and rebuild livelihoods based on a healthy ecosystem in the Southern Sinai Region. The excessive irresponsible practices in agricultural activities in Nuweiba have adversely affected the economic, social, and environmental aspects. This impacted the welfare of Bedouin communities.
As Habiba community observed that, they took the initiative to make a change, creating a community with a balanced ecological economy in Nuweiba. Habiba Community has identified that a major area of focus is to create a solid foundation of fertile organic soil to provide the necessary nutrients to support all types of life.

To accomplish this, the volunteers will take part in a series of activities that include:
• Compost maintenance.
• Irrigation management.
