The Reggae Music & Dance EduTour will put the “Jam” in Jam-Rock.

Journey into the heart of a beautiful country and a people group that is a hallmark of pop culture, all while learning the art of Jamaican Dance styles!

The Reggae Music & Dance EduTour will teach you some of the entertaining dance styles and introduce you to the some of the most interesting people you’ll ever meet.

On the first full day, the Reggae Music & Dance EduTour takes you to a great representation of Jamaica as a whole: The wonderful little town of Mandeville, full of famous landmarks and exciting Jamaican Markets!

Tuesday you’ll get acclimated with the history of Jamaican Music and Dance so that you can truly appreciate the roots of the styles you’ll be learning. And on Wednesday you’ll REALLY start to feel the beat as you begin learning traditional and exciting Jamaican Dances like the Ska, Mento, Reggae, Dancehall, and More!  

Thursday of the Reggae Music & Dance EduTour offers a deeper look into Jamaican Dance History before Friday delivers a Jamaican Must-See: The Bob Marley Museum and a visit to Tuff Gong Studios.

The First Weekend of the Jamaica Reggae Music and Dance EduTour is highlighted by a trip to wonderful Ocho Rios, home of world famous Waterfalls like the Dunns River Falls. A perfect chance to get out, explore, and hike around, the sparkling white beaches and scenic waterfalls will be sure to provide plenty of fodder for your Instagram pages.

Enjoy some authentic Jamaican cultural immersion on Sunday as the group visits either a local sporting event (like football or cricket) or some of the exciting local fairs and markets!

Day 9 and 10 offer an amazing and rare opportunity: 2 days at the Edna Manley School of Dance learning about different styles of Jamaican Music and Dance!

Shift gears Wednesday as the Reggae Music and Dance EduTour moves to the Trench Town Culture Yard to experience the Authentic Roots of the Musical Legend Bob Marley and then to a Kingston City Tour for a Jamaican Music and Dance Festival on Thursday!

A community experience on Friday adds an exclamation mark to your last full day on the island as you’ll take a trip down to the riverside to enjoy some traditional Jamaican cooking and games with many of the natives, yet another chance to meet new people, bond with your group, and enjoy this truly exquisite culture.

This Jamaica Reggae Music and Dance EduTour is an exciting opportunity to learn some fun new skills that involve dance and music while taking a trip to one of the most desired vacation destinations on earth. DAY 2: Monday - Explore Jamaican Culture
  • Jamaican Culture Orientation – tour the town of Mandeville to visit landmarks, markets, enjoy the food & gain taxi experience.

DAY 3: Tuesday - Jamaican Music & Dance
  • Learn about Jamaican music & dance by participating in a discussion about the history & development of all forms of Jamaican music.

DAY 4: Wednesday - 'Feel the Vibe, Learn the Beat'
  • “Feel the vibe, learn the beat” – a day exploring & learning Jamaican dance; Ska, Mento, Kumina, Dinky Mini, Rock Steady, Reggae & Dancehall.

DAY 5: Thursday - The History of Jamaican Music
  • A day exploring & learning about the history, movements & changes with Jamaican music.

DAY 6: Friday - Bob Marley Museum & Tuff Gong Studios
  • Visit Bob Marley Museum & Tuff Gong Studios where you will learn about the life & legacy of the legend Bob Marley.

DAY 7: Saturday - Ocho Rios Town Tour & Dunns River Falls
  • Explore the town of Ocho Rios & nearby Dunns River Falls – enjoy a relaxing day climbing the world famous waterfalls & exploring the white sandy beaches.
  • You can also experience some shopping while immersing yourself in the Jamaican way of life.

  • Authentic Cultural Immersion – spend the day as a group attending either a local sporting event such as football or cricket, or check out one of the any local fairs and markets.
