We started offering virtual Travel & Tourism internships in Nepal, in order to give you the opportunity to further your knowledge of Travel and Tourism, and hence to increase your potentiality for entering into the rapidly growing international travel & tourism market worldwide. Also we do hope that the program will help you to get practical experience in the field of international Travel and Tourism market to learn more about the different management skills in Sustainable Tourism Development!
In this program we will give you placements in Nepal based touring agencies and Travel companies. Task for interns may include assisting travel companies in areas like marketing, business management, tour consulting and other work as per the need of the company. Intern with a tour operator, travel agent, or other agencies devoted for promoting the travel and tourism market in Nepal. Gain great practical work experience working within what are typically smaller companies, giving you great exposure to many aspects of business in the field for your future career in Tourism Sector!
Typical day
As an Intern in our Virtual Tourism Internship Programs, you will be:
• Working in Nepal based Travel & Tourism Companies.
• Developing basic business planning, Suggesting new marketing opportunities.
• Conducting market research on business opportunities for the companies.
• Assisting with overall strategy & Doing business analysis.
• Sales and Marketing / Promotion / Public relation, Client Relations and many more works.
• Writing engaging content for website updates, blogs and newsletters.
Learning Outcomes form the Programs:
• Enhance your understanding of Tourism Business and Sustainable Tourism.
• Learn the process of Sustainable Tourism development and its Impact in rural communities.

Requirements
In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.
You need to speak English (basic level)
Travel and Tourism, Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, at High School and Above level
CV

Your helping hand will be required on
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.
An airport pickup isn't included within the program fees either.
Please arrange your own accommodation.

The nearest airport is Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu. We assist you to find cheap flights to Nepal.
Going abroad is an adventure and it is always best to be prepared. Sudden illness or injury, cancellation or theft - a travel insurance for Nepal provides security and is a plus to have.
If you are intending to volunteer in Nepal you should seek medical advice before starting your social journey. Check your required vaccinations for Nepal.
