You will live in a house with a bathroom and service. Everyone's laundry is totally rustic. Bringing a Kolbi line only Kolbi comes with internet. Bring dark clothes, boots and rain jacket. Bring your personal things like soap towels rapellent, mosquito net and even pillow if you like. White light and red light bulb to work with the turtles and in the hatcheries. You will only have access to a very small grocery store to get some snacks and drinks
1. you will work on the beach for 4 hours during the day, at night there are rotating hours
2. after the spawning of the turtles, the eggs are brought to the rearing station for care
3. walks on the beach at different times to keep an eye on the turtles and thus prevent the eggs or even the turtles themselves from being stolen or injured
4. there will also be walks along the rivers or in the jungle
5. beach cleaning and camp maintenance
1. Day and night walks on the beach or in the jungle to observe all species of animals present in Pacuare
2. Enjoy the beach and the sea carefully
3. Play games or do sport, share with the others volunteers
4. Enjoy tours that the association can organize for you like boat tour, visit of Parismina or Tortuguero
5. Learn the typical cuisine, try the local dances
We can coordinate for you transportation from the airport to the boarding area of the pangas (boats), which go to our facilities.

Our trip starts at the bus stop "Los Caribeños" in the great metropolitan area, taking the bus that goes from San Jose - Siquirres, to then arrive in Siquirres and take the next bus to Las Vegas de Siquirres, which leaves at 2:30 pm, to then arrive at 4:00 pm, to finally take the panga that will take you to the camp of Naturaleza devPacuare.
Volunteers can join us all year long, any day of the week.
