Volunteers joining the Sea Turtle Conservation Program will be living in the Volunteer House in Galle. It is a beautiful house with 9 bedrooms having attached bathrooms, as well as a kitchen, common room, rooftop area, and a garden. Each room can accommodate about 4 to 6 people. Rooms are provided on the same-gender sharing basis. we'll ensure that you can have a comfortable stay while working with us.
We provide 3 freshly cooked meals per day all week long (Monday to Sunday): Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Fresh ingredients are purchased from local markets to prepare these meals. We have two lady chefs (a head chef and an assistant) from our community who come daily to cook fresh, homely and tasty local meals for the volunteers.
