This teach program tries to tackle poverty and social inequality through qualitative education. Every child has the right to qualitative education, focussed on personality development, regardless of their own capabilities and limitations and regardless of the place and culture in which they grow up. Children from underprivileged families and ethnic minorities, children with a disability and children in rural areas should have the same opportunities as others.
This is why we offer those children qualitative education and give them a hot meal at noon. We also organize doctors and dentists appointments, help them in their schools if necessary, we have parent meetings, ...
You work together in a team of (10) volunteers (p.e. teachers, speech therapist, physiotherapists) under the guidance of a Peruvian teacher and 2 Belgian project responsibles. In a mutual agreement we set up your daily tasks:

The project is in Curahuasi, Peru. It's a really nice environment: you have the prettiest view and it's a very safe town.
In and around Curahuasi (Cusco) you have a lot of different free time activities, some of these are the following:
In Cusco you have furthermore the opportunity to do various tours, like e.g. the Rainbow mountain, the jungle, the Sacred Valley, visiting the ruins of the Incas and many many more.
