Volunteers will be part of a training and cultural immersion program, customized according to the interests and particular skills of each participant. The intern will have constant support and follow-up from his/her coordinator
Are you a visual artist, graphic designer, web developer, writer, musician, journalist, dancer, researcher, engineer or just interested in art, culture and their relationship with technology ? Do you want to have an international experience and local immersion? If the answer is yes, then this is the program is for you!
You can be sure of two things: you are not going to make coffee and you are not going to be our data entry guy/girl.
Our volunteer program is so unique because each day is different than the other. Sometimes you will be executing some intellectual tasks, and other times you will be completing executive assignments, networking or socializing.
You will be given your agenda in advance every week , so we can agree on the schedule, hours and tasks on-site in our office, remotely and networking.
Here are some examples of the activities that you might take part in as an intern:
■ In-person coverage of art, culture and technology events
■ On-site office activities and remote activities
■ Research and analysis of documents and reports on human rights and policies related to culture, art and technology
■ Execution of awareness, policy, advocacy and education campaigns
■ Assistance in events and workshops
■ Assistance in communication tasks
■ Assistance in translation tasks and English training (if applicable)
■ Development of projects in different areas of the Foundation related to art, culture and technology
■ Weekly mentoring and coaching on a personal project related to art, culture and technology (chosen by the volunteer)
Keep in mind that it does not matter if you do not have experience in every one of these areas. You will receive training and all our patience so as to have the best experience ever.
