Experience an unforgettable time in the north of Thailand with the largest land mammals of ours Earth! The voluntary service takes place in an elephant project, which can visit guests and tourists. Support the preservation of your work with a small group of volunteers Asian elephants! Through your activity in our project to these fascinating animals:
to feed, care for, and bathe the animals. An unforgettable experience for the whole Life! In addition, you will help your work in nature and in the elephant camp, the environment to protect, to collect garbage, to breed plants and to exploit them! The work at the camp is both demanding and physical, especially in the hot months. You will need to be in good physical condition due to the nature of the work undertaken in a hot and humid environment.
Additional duties:
- Meaning: from elephant dung natural earth and Produce humus; Collection, stratification, cover of the elephant droppings at the composting station; Turn decayed soil and pack in bags for the Transport to planting places+
- Under the guidance of simple raised beds natural building material (bamboo / wood)
- Assistance in the care of various existing plants in the elephant camp
Typical day
You will be involved in the daily routine of caring for the resident elephants. A tipical day coud be:
07.30 am breakfast
08.00 - 09.30 am volunteer duties
09.30 - 10.00 am coffee break
10.00 - 12.00 am volunteer duties
12.00 - 01.00 pm lunch
01.00 - 04.00 pm volunteer duties
04.00 - free time
Volunteers do work from Monday - Saturday.
Free-time activities
Druing your free time you can visit Waterfalls, Temple and making a trip in this wonderful nature. Before starting your volunteering it is a great option to stay some days in Chiang Mai and discover the city. Swimming in the river is sometimes possible.

Requisiti
In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s) or if your are accompanied by your parents.
You need to speak English (fluently)
at Good English skills level
No restrictions. Helping hands from all over the world are welcome.
Your helping hand will be required on

Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.
The nearest airport is Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) in Chiang Mai. We assist you to find cheap flights to Tailandia.
Going abroad is an adventure and it is always best to be prepared. Sudden illness or injury, cancellation or theft - a travel insurance for Tailandia provides security and is a plus to have.
If you are intending to volunteer in Tailandia you should seek medical advice before starting your social journey. Check your required vaccinations for Tailandia.
