This projects goals work directly towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals #14 Life below water and #15 Life on Land.

As a participant of this program, dependent on seasons you could expect to be involved in the following: nesting activity surveys; bamboo harvesting and the building of protective grids; beach clean ups; data input as well as information workshops for locals and tourists on the importance of turtle conservation.

At the start of the season, you are guaranteed to see turtles nesting! By the end of the season, project work becomes more focused on ensuring the safe passage of the hatchlings to the ocean.
