Age 15+
Singoli
Gruppi
Join this volunteer project alongside an international team and contribute to critical conservation of the endangered loggerhead sea turtle.

Based in the spectacular Kyparissia Bay, this volunteer program has been designed especially for volunteers aged between 15 and 17 years old.

Throughout your time on this program, you will be trained and supervised by world class qualified leaders in the field.

Health & safety is a priority and we are compliant with British Standards 8848.

As a participant on this program you will do morning and night surveys where you will collect data on the nesting activity. A big part of your responsibility as a volunteer is to work on initiatives to protect nests and hatchlings from potential predators. With guidance from your program manager you will also offer information sessions to local tourists on the importance of conservation in the area.

Over weekends you will head out for sight seeing activities which are facilitated by our local field team.

This program includes an optional Leadership online course which must be completed in order to obtain a certificate offered in partnership with the University of Richmond in the United States.
