The organization

AII is a non-governmental organization based in India. We are an association of sustainable projects with the aim to support the local people with education, empowerment & care. Currently we have 10 very sustainable volunteering projects in India suitable for all age groups and all nationalities. The aim with providing volunteering opportunities is to support the local deprived and underpriviledged public through international community engagement. So lets join hands together to develop and build some hope for needy individuals.

AII Group has been founded by Rahul in the year 2012 to promote sustainable and economic solutions for world-wide students and youth to gain experience and knowledge in a different country. The motto to establish AII is to eradicate the ill-practices in the youth travel industry by some fraudulent companies and individuals. 

The country

India is a huge country and, as we all know, has the second largest population. We are quite aware about the growing economy, infrastructure, transportation, information technology, medical advancements, heritage and travel destinations, fashion and bollywood, scientists and ISRO, PM Narendra modi, export, gems and jewellery and hundreds of other finest reasons India is famous for. But all these factors that are described above are limited to urban citizens. 

In India there is a huge contrast between BPL (below poverty line) citizens and ARL (above richest line). If we divide into two major segments, then it would be urban (that is only 30%) and rural (70%). Even in this urban segment (30%), another 30% of it is considered to be a slum or bpl residential areas where we can't even find clear water to drink or hygienic places to live. There is no education and no health at all. The government is doing very well to provide the basic living facilities in rural India and the slums in the cities. But the process will take time as the population is too big for this country.

Our programs

Aii's volunteer abroad programs are associated with the NGOs, people's body, VOs, government organizations, that are working in these areas to provide shelter for the orphans, education for the il-/semi literates, caring for animals, to empower women, building and repairing homes and providing health care and health education in slums. So basically as we know the issue and beneficiary is too big and there is a shortage of helping hands, the volunteers play an important role. The volunteers are required to support, initiate and help in the programs run by Aii and the association of the organizations for overall development of these areas.

When a volunteer applies for any volunteer abroad program in India, a detailed orientation session is organized to make them aware of the issue and their role in the solution process. Hence the equation is solved. Aii programs are inbuilt with cultural activities and knowledge sessions inclusive in all volunteer abroad programs. During the volunteer abroad program you will be engaged in cultural activities, sessions on the nation's education systems to find its faults and possible solutions. In India, you will be part of a local Indian dress workshop, a yoga workshop, a cooking workshop, henna painting, rangoli making and the logic behind all this. On the other side of learning you will get to know the Indian education system, marriage ceremonies, castes, issues, taboos and a lot more to get to know the country by its roots.
