BUWEDDA Uganda is a registered Non-Governmental organization supporting rural women,girls and children with disabilities.

BUWEDDA was formed in 1999
Our Vision:
To have a society where all women and girls with disabilities are fully empowered to participate and influence the matters that affect them and the development of their communities.

Our Mission:
To facilitate participation, unity, team work,self help initiatives, self esteem and the advancement of the rural women and girls with disabilities through advocacy, access to resources, health information and service, education and skills development.

Social Impact

55 women received goats under the Goat revolving Scheme,464 women Trained in income generation activities and small scale business management, 210 women and girls trained in entrepreneurship, marketing, book keeping and savings and credit management. And are currently engaged into economic activities and supporting their families.
370 Girls and women with disabilities have been trained in vocational skills and supported with start up kits. 180 mobility support to women,girls and children
