Greenforce runs volunteering projects in many areas, such as marine & wildlife conservation, child care, community development & animal welfare.

About the Project

In 1989 Marcus Watts set up Greenforce to enable young people to become global citizens , making a positive impact on the world, while also heading off the beaten path. Marcus has been an active member of the Expedition Providers Association, the Youth Explorers Trust and elected Chair of the Year Out Group. He has also been elected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. We strive to have all parties involved in our projects benefit from our volunteers' commitment.

Social Impact

Greenforce (UK Charity Number: 1138690) is committed to exert a strong positive economic, social and environmental impact through their wide range of volunteering projects. Apart from the astonishing work and help from our volunteers in disadvantaged communities, wildlife reserves and animal sanctuaries, we make sure that 60% of our profits will stay in the countries we operate in.This ensures future sustainable development and improves peoples' livelioods, animal welfare and conservation.
