Project Details

Working with local community in the rural areas of Kenya to support school development projects and champion for education

Mafanikio is a non profit making oragnizatio that was established in 2003 to promote education and development and alleviate poverty especially in rural and margainzlized areas in Kenya.

Mafanikio works with margainlized areas especially in the Makuen county to promote education and social development through the volunteer programme.

The volunteer & internship programme provides an opportunity for volunteers to work hand in hand with local community and also experience grass root level.

Social Impact

Since the inception of Mafanikio, there has been enormous social impact in the areas of operation in the rural of Makueni county, Kiambu county and Kwale county respectively.

There has been tangable and intangable impact in all the regions.

The community has been opened up and is able to relate to internaitonal community, schools have been renovated whereas over 100 children have benefited from high school edcuation fund which was mainly funded by volunteers and GRA Ireland..
