We started Ubuntu Travel after working in both the volunteer and tourism sectors in South Africa and realizing we had something to offer volunteers and travellers alike. We feel volunteering in South Africa has become too profit driven and not personal enough, with volunteers crammed into substandard accommodation, and no personal touch offered. With an extensive personal knowledge of the land, it's people and culture, we feel we are well placed to offer volunteers a varied and unforgettable trip, while making a tangible and sustainable difference local people in Port Elizabeth.
