Volunteer Teaching programs in Nepal targets international volunteers, interns who are looking to take part in a hands-on Nepali classroom experience.

About the Project

Without the provision of basic education for those living in rural, marginalised communities, VIN’s mission to empower them cannot be realised. VIN welcomes volunteers or interns to participate in any of these volunteering projects English at Buddhist Monastery Nunnery and community school, Teacher Development, Computer Science, Teaching the Deaf, Sports Volunteer, and Cultural Immersion and Teaching under volunteer teaching program to enhance educational level in its community sites.

Social Impact

VIN’s teaching programs support the overall development of the community and the long-term goal of independence. Our teaching involvement has grown considerably over the years. We initially focused on teaching english language and are now implementing further projects that will support the holistic development of the children in Jitpurphedi and Okhaldhunga, including Teaching Sports, Arts and Crafts and Computer Science.
