Business Administration & Training Assistant

On our business projects you will work alongside experienced professionals as well as less qualified individuals who will benefit from your guidance.

The program is set to develop the  local communities establishing plans of better marketing and finance management. The program works with the less privileged families in Sakubva and Chikanga.

Volunteers may get involved in some of the following areas at their placement:

  • Administration - helping to organize the office (filing, photocopying, answering the phone, typing projects reports).
  • Marketing - keeping the website up to date, including writing articles, uploading photos of activities, making flyers and brochures, organizing   events.
  • Fundraising - sending business fundraising proposals to different firms and individuals. Project Visitation with partners.

By working with the organization volunteers will gain a well-rounded view of how charities work and the unique set of challenges they face in achieving their goals. If you complete every task to the best of your ability, you are certain to go home having gained valuable practical experience for your resume, while also having supported a worthwhile cause. The social program will see the local staff and community change their programs to self sustaining. 

Volunteers should be self motivated and hardworking  to the program, must be prepared to work Monday to Friday sharing their experience with a committed local staff and friendly local community.

Details on Arrival

Programs start every 1st and 3rd Monday of each month, with arrival Sunday prior to the program start at HIA (Harare International Airport).This programs are available all year round.
Upon arrival you will be picked up at the airport and driven to the volunteer house or coordinator’s place.During 1-3 days, depending on the length of your voluntary work, you will get a general briefing. These first days will offer you glimpses into the Shona  language, as well as Zimbabwe's various cultures, religions, and local ways of life.
This introduction will be held in Mutare, Harare  depending on your work area.

Program Requirements

In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s).

Other Skills
If you have completed a degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related subject then you are perfectly suited to this project.
We will also accept volunteers who have experience of working in a related field but who do not have a degree.

Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:00 - 16:00

Free-time activities

Volunteers are recommended to visit safaris and game reserves on their free time and weekends.The best places to visit are Bvumba Nature Resorts and lnyati Eco Game Reserve in Headlands along Harare- Mutare road.You can visit local sports facilities at Africa University and participate in various sports activities.

Airport Pickup at Harare

Airport pick-up by coordinator, debriefing and  orientation meeting, initial project visit, a suitable volunteer project, ongoing 24 hour/7 day support from local staff.


In Zimbabwe, volunteers will stay in either comfortable volunteer houses or home stays depending on the time of the year, location of volunteering and duration of the volunteer’s stay.

3 meals per day, 7 days per week at the volunteer house or host family.

Volunteers will enjoy the traditional foods and drinks.

Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.

Average fees

You can volunteer at the project site in Mutare/Zimbabwe between 4 weeks and 8 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Musha Care Foundation will let you know about the final price during your application process.
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with Musha Care Foundation during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
