Community and Environmental Assistant

8 weeks to experience the best that Borneo has to offer. From the tropical island paradise of Mantanani to the Kinabtangan Jungle.

About the Program

Head out into the dense jungle for a night trek with our knowledgeable local guides before jumping into your hammock for a night in the jungle. Enjoy beach BBQs and explore the vibrant town of Kota Kinabalu at the weekends. Of course a trip to Borneo wouldn’t be complete without getting to observe the island’s most famous primate, the orangutan. We’ll take you to Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary where you can get up close to these amazing creatures and support the vital work of the sanctuary. Become a true global citizen, immerse yourself in new cultures and make a measurable impact in the process.
