Community Development Assistant

We started this project to help orphans and to stop early marriage also educated Maasai in our community, by giving them hope and a future in life.

The Maasai are the most marginalized community  which has been affected by cultural ties from the past and  a community with a colorful lifestyle.

We will provide special meals for our volunteers as well as Maasai traditional meals, healing herbs, wild fruits and so much more.The Organization will create events that benefit the entire community and especially the most in need. Our project will cooperate with local and International NGOs which will supply the community with Volunteers that will motivate the community in achieving their goals as well to provide the necessary knowledge.

Day-to-day activities:
Volunteers will be involve with tree planting, baby sitting, doing the school run, cooking, shopping, general maintenance, office work, language tuition etc. Our be love volunteers work with us the community and day-to-day basis volunteers will communicate with there families also do traditional music with our locals and interact with them.

Volunteers are also free to coordinate sports and learn Maasai culture and arts at the end of the day. Many volunteers are also opt to tutor some students during the period. They will be involved in teaching the community on entrepreneurship, home based care for the sick, orphans and vulnerable children. They will also be involved in documentation for the projects,  Volunteers can donate to any of our projects at their own.

We also have Maasai music we promise that our volunteers will be happy and promise our visitor that it will be unforgettable moment for them they will go back to there countries and come again to Maasai . The surroundings at work is that fanny Maasai houses and same wild animals like zebras, Antelopes and ostrich but all in all  have enough security for our be love friends, hop our hosting will me the best of all. Minimum Age
In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s).
Language Skills
You need to speak English (basic level)
Nationality Restrictions
No restrictions. Helping hands from all over the world are welcome.
Other Skills
Microsoft Office, Cooking, Great listener, Experience with working with school-age children,Passionate about Service, Cooking, Organization skills, Team buildings, charity, Coaching and Leadirship
Time Commitment
Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 - 12:30

Free-time activities

In our Project volunteers will be able to tour the fast Maasai land with so many natural resources, wild animals and they will also be able to interact with the people and learn more about our culture including the Maasai worriers, attend meat camps and so many other interesting activities.

You can volunteer at the project site in Nairobi/Kenya between 4 weeks and 50 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. MIAOO will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with MIAOO during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
