Volunteer and travel in India to gain cultural Experience.

This volunteer program is a travel and volunteer opportunity in India for volunteers. This is a rare experience that volunteers will never forget for the rest of their life. Time duration will be 4 weeks for this program. volunteers will work every day for 4 hours in one of our volunteering program  and in  the week end they will enjoy our tour programs, like if volunteers work in our teaching program for 1 week after this the enjoy our Manali tour, next week they work in our women empowerment, then in weekend they enjoy our golden temple tour program. Like this our volunteers can gain a cultural experience with volunteer and travel in India.

After every volunteer program, volunteers will join a tour program and go back to our program location which is in Dharamshala, only after Tajmahal tour volunteers will go to Delhi .It is last day for our volunteers in India so they have a full day to visiting Delhi famous spots like Red fort, Lotus temple, India gate, Akshar Dham temple, Qutab minar, and local markets, next day a flight will waiting for our volunteers to their home destinations.

Our Programs

English teaching program - In this program volunteers will work in local villages schools, to teach English language, grammar, alphabetics, reading, writing and speaking English.

Women Empowerment Program - In this  program volunteers will help local villages girls and women to Teach Basic English & Maths to women, Education (Literacy) awareness work Female health awareness program, Income generative skills training Personality development Awareness raising activities.

Child care Program - In this program volunteers will work in local child care centres, Our aim is to support these local child care center is to give them right and good education.

Renovation Program - This program run by us for construction and renovation challenges where volunteers work in team alongside local craft people to complete time limited challenges to improve rundown community building, renovate schools and coloring,painting  walls .

Information about Tours

Manali Tour

Manali is situated in the north of India it is a primary attraction for the tourist who went to visit the Himalayas. Manali is located on the banks of river Beas, the magical land is known for its natural hot springs and snow capped mountains. It is one  of the most beautiful hill station situated in the north Indian state Himachal Pradesh. Manali experiences a pleasant climate throughout the year its maximum summer day temperature goes up to 30 degrees C which falls substantially in night. Main attraction of Manali are Rohtang Pass , Hidimbha Devi temple ,Vishist Spring, Manali sanctuary,Winter carnival ,Tibetan Monastery. Volunteers will join this tour by taxi, it takes 7 hour to reach Manali and they stay for 2 days there.

Himalayan Trek Tour

Trek to Triund in Dharamshala  is one of the most popular activity among tourist and visitors in Mcleod Ganj. Triund Hill is referred to as the jewel of dharamshala.This heavenly  retreat  for from  the madding  crowd of Mcleod Ganj is a short trek of 9 km. Triund hill is located in the Dauladhar range of Himalayas in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh at an elevation of 9800 feet (2975)m. one of the reason  for the  popularity of Triund Trek is its madetrat nature which means tourists and picnickers could do it in a single or 2 days and return back to Mcleod Ganj or Dharamshala , for night stay there is a guest house and we also provide tents for our volunteers.

Golden Temple tour

Golden Temple is located in the city of Amritsar in the state of Punjab. It is a place of worship for all men and women irrespective of their cast or social status.Guru Granth Sahib the most holy  text of sikhism is always present inside the Golden Temple. As the name state the Golden Temple is made up of pure gold thus attracting thousands of tourists  from all around the world.Volunteers will join this tour by taxi and they will stay there for 2 days, during stay volunteers will visit,Golden temple, famous Wagha Border, it is a international border between India and pakistan, Jaliyan wala bagh.

Taj Mahal Tour

It is a symbol of love and also counted in seven wonders of world that’s why thousands of  international tourists came every year for visit this wonder of India. Volunteers will join this tour by Train, after reach there they will stay for whole day in Agra.

Typical day

Volunteers will work everyday for 4 hours in our volunteer programs, morning 2 hours and  afternoon 2 hours . Every week there will be a different volunteers programs which volunteers have to join , like first week they join English teaching program,2nd week they join Women empowerment program,3rd week they join child care program,4th week they will join Renovation program . All programs will organize by us in local villages schools.

Details on Arrival

Volunteers can join our programs throughout the year .Arrival on Delhi air port volunteers have to stay 1 night at hotel in Delhi, because after a long flight they need rest. Mostly international flights are arrived in evening or midnight, so we start our journey next morning to our project destination to Dharamshala by Volvo bus.

Program Requirements

In order to join the program you need to be at least 18 years old on the program start date. There might be exemptions if you can provide the permission of your legal guardian(s).

Free-time activities

Working hours of our volunteers are 4 hours a day that's are from Monday to Friday,evening time is free to reading books, music,watching movies, visiting local places, markets and shopping.

What's included?
We provide our volunteers accommodation,tea,breakfast,lunch,dinner,transport and teaching materials. In the starting of program pick up Delhi to Dharamshala by volvo busses and in the end of programs drooping to Dharamshala to Delhi. All transport by train, Volvo bus, car, hotel accommodation, every day breakfast, lunch, Dinner , water, coffee, tea, materials for volunteer work. All monuments entry fees.

Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees. 
Airport Pickup at Gaggal Airport
At the starting of the project we will collect volunteers from the airport and take them to the project site and at the end of the project we drop them at the airport according their inclusions.
We have our large volunteer house in Dharamshala. Our accommodation is basic but clean. All Rooms have attached bathrooms.
In our volunteer house, volunteers have access to computers with broadband, a sky TV with English and Hindi channels. We have water purification facilities on site that volunteers can use to fill their water bottles and supply of toilet papers. Volunteers are responsible for the cost of their own Phone call charges.

Food & Beverages
All meals(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) within the accommodation are freshly prepared by our house chef we provide meals that are native to the region of India in our volunteer house. It includes north Indian curries and traditional Himachali food. This more often will be vegetarian. Non veg is prepared only by the special demand and it will charge extra amount.

Average fees

You can volunteer at the project site in Dharamsala/India between 4 weeks and 4 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Pari Voluntourism Solutions will let you know about the final price during your application process.
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with Pari Voluntourism Solutions during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
