Education & Sport Assistant

Education and Sport are a tools that we are using to address issues affecting young people such as illiteracy, lack of Education, HIV and social environmental issues

We endeavor to empower these young people with skills, talent development opportunity and personal development through sport outreach, conservation activities and education programs, most of the kids have no access to formal education due of their parents and guardians financial inabilities to send them to school, so we will endeavor to provide them with the needed resources to see them get empowered in four important areas;

4.    Personal Development

We need international volunteers who have the passionate to work among vulnerable young people, destitute elderly people and their households to give their time, passion and support to reach out many young people and impact them through sport, health care and educational programs, we need people with experience in teaching, sport coaching, child care, community work and those with any experience but willing to learn are welcome!

Typical day

The typical starts around 07:00 am
Breakfast is available at 08:00 am -08:30 am
The School morning sessions at 09:00 am
School break at 10:30 am
Resume at 11:00 am
Knock off from school at 12:00 am
Lunch at 12:30 am
Sport afternoon session at 3:30 pm- 5:00 pm
Free time 5:00 pm up to 6:30 pm
Dinner at 6:30 pm
Team time at 7:30 pm up to 8:30 pm
Rest at 9:00 and wake up 07:00 am
Saturdays and Sundays are free days for the people and available for extra activities

It is about 20 minutes from the airport away from the program site and the pick up is also included

You can volunteer at the project site in Livingstone/Zambia between 4 weeks and 50 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. New Hope Waves will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
$140/week
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with New Hope Waves during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
