Teaching English to 12-13 years old children at Primary School. Preparing workshops and other events where English practice can take place.

Volunteer Positions:

Volunteers can be engaged in the following positions:

1) Volunteer as English Teacher:

1.a) English Teacher. 1.b) English Teacher Assistant.


Volunteers should have an intermediate-advanced level of Spanish in order to participate in this project. We highly recommend volunteers to take a Spanish course before starting the project if Spanish level is not sufficient. If volunteer don´t have enough time, Online Spanish lessons are available before arrival.

Minimum Time:

The minimum time requested is 8 weeks.
Please bear in mind that the admission process is quite strict and that the final acceptance depends on the project coordinator and the director for the chosen Public School.

Volunteer as an English Teacher:

Tasks: Teaching English to teenagers at Primary School. Preparing workshops and other events where English practice can take place.

Schedule: This position needs a minimun stay of three months and openings are every March and every August. Just a few positions available.

What's included?
Project Fee and the Placement Fee. The Project Fee covers the projects costs for making sure you are safe and well looked after, kept busy and making a difference to the area of focus of the project. La Montaña adds no commission to any project. We instead ask for a placement fee to cover our costs for promoting the project and providing volunteer support during the time spent with us.
What's NOT included?
Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.

You can volunteer at the project site in Bariloche/Argentina between 12 weeks and 16 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. La Montaña will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with La Montaña during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
