English Teaching Assistant

We are urgently looking for teaching volunteers from worldwide to teach english at selected schools in Ashanti region of Ghana,no special qualification is required.

Our teaching volunteer programs is well designed to fit and adapt the volunteers easily into the Ghana Education service curriculum structure,we provides basic training to our volunteers through our partnership with the Ghana Education service and Heads of schools , the level of teaching depends on the level of class individual volunteer is assigned to ,for example , there is no strict volunteer requirements for teaching English language but individual with English teaching experience or qualification can be choosing to teach at higher level such as the junior high schools .we are also much concern about the individual ability and the knowledge he or she have in the English language which is the main language and the official language of Ghana and is the  only language of command used in all levels of educational system in Ghana, at the end of your volunteer service we  believe student can be able to read and write

Typical day

Each class is having it own time table for the daily activities that meets other subjects thought by other teachers , our volunteers are not given much loaded schedules in such away that they can have free and much time to interact and socialized with the community  and also have time with their own personal activities , at least two hours in a day is a blessing to our us.

You can volunteer at the project site in Jamasi/Ghana between 4 weeks and 24 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. Hope and Love Volunteers will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
$170/week
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with Hope and Love Volunteers during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
