Marine Birdlife Conservation

Help out at a Port Elizabeth based marine birdlife conservation centre.

About Us

The Ubuntu Volunteering  Project offers visitors a unique and interesting insight into the world of the marine life of Algoa Bay and the challenges it faces. Today the center rescues all marine animals but concentrates primarily on marine birds, specifically the endangered African Penguin.Ubuntu Volunteering is based in Port Elizabeth and offer volunteers and travelers a tailor made African experience. We are a small company who treat volunteers as individuals and do not use expensive and unreliable agents based in Europe. We deal directly with the volunteers and directly with the projects concerned to make sure you have an unforgettable experience and make a lasting impression on the lives of those most in need here.

Ubuntu Volunteering always needs help from volunteers of all age ranges. Our volunteers are supervised at all times and receive on the job training as well as the relevant learning material.
