Assist with newsletter, media, Blogging, Film/ Documentary, mailings, web design, promoting events and other projects.
1. Photographing and documentation, video shooting and other special report writing. Enthusiastic and motivated interns with some experience are needed to help lead film production workshops, participate in training sessions, and expose local youth to the opportunities involved in film production in Africa. This project is a great way to gain experience while working for a worthwhile cause. The organization is eager to receive interns from all over the world so that they can generate new ideas and learn from other filmmakers on the creative and technical aspects of film production. Experience and a strong interest in film production are essential when it comes to getting involved in this project. Interns accepted on this project are required to have completed at least one year of studies in video, film production, media, or a closely related topic. This is a fun and worthwhile project. Bring energy, creativity, and an open mind and you will learn the most and your help will be greatly appreciated Whether you have just graduated, are on summer vacation or a gap year, or are taking a career break you can share your knowledge and learn about film production abroad.
Volunteer will visit tourist resorts areas like Nyanga Botanical Garden and Vumba Nature Resorts and Zimbabwe Ruins at their free time.
Upon arrival, all volunteers will be picked up at the airport by the volunteer coordinator in Zimbabwe. He will give you a brief orientation and update on the current events and status of our projects. He will then bring you to your volunteer location. You can be placed in groups and we will not split you up if you come with a partner or friends.
Volunteers are accommodated with host families who can cook for them and provide bedding for them.
Breakfast,lunch and dinner are provided by the host family who who is also on hand to provide care and support to all our volunteers. They can enjoy Zimbabwean dishes which are African and could experience different flavours and meals during their Zimbabwean stay.
