Thanks to the media and public relations team, the Archipelagos’ efforts are made public in real time.
Archipelagos’ research and conservation projects can be successful only if they are known, understood and believed in by the local communities and the wider public. Our media and design team creates posters, leaflets, animations and documentaries as well as uses social media in order to assure our success. Cooperating closely with Archipelagos researchers and volunteers, the team shows the unique nature of the Aegean Sea and islands to the world.

Samos is one of the biggest islands of Greece and it's the favorite touristic destination in the north east aegean.
It features a rich history as well as beautiful nature, an intact infrastructure and friendly people who will make your stay a memorable one, be it for one week or many years. During the weekend the volunteers are organizing trips around the island or the near by islands boat trip, hiking, riding and so many other activities.
We have shared rooms for 3 to 4 people with bathroom and balcony only 100 meters away from the sea.
You will be getting three meals per day.
The Aegean Sea supports exceptional biodiversity, including rare and protected marine habitats and species.
The main goals of our research are: Monitoring the habitat use, abundance and distribution of cetaceans, Mediterrenean monk seals and sea turtles.
Samos is home to a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and it's the only island in the Mediterranean where golden jackals can be found!
Energy demand is constantly increasing in the whole world and Greece is not an exception. Archipelagos is developing several projects for renewable energy sources.
