The project
The National Park Torres del Paine is not only Chile´s crown jewel but also among the most marvelous natural reservations worldwide! The park is located north of the Magallanes region which has mountains and beautiful nature known all over the world. Around 155.000 people for all parte os the world are coming to visit this beautiful spot every year.

The acoomodation is at a volunteer house which is located on the park. Volunteers and employees on the park assist in providing and maintaining a good and nature friendly infrastructure throughout the park while they also raise awareness of how important this national park is because of its natural resources, they do this by holding seminars and events which are visited by the local community and also visitors to the park.

Your work
A lot of work is to be done by volunteers to ensure the preservation of the natural riches at the Torres del Paine National Park there are many different tasks volunteers are involved in. 

On a typical day you will be: maitaining trails on the park, raising awareness of the environment and its natural resources, help with the reforestation, help with organization of marketing and sales events, planting new plants and trees, assisting in scientific studies. 

If you are someone who can work with people from any culture, loves to work outside and have a desire to work hard and protect local nature then this volunteer program is perfect for you.

Your helping hand will be required on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 - 16:00

You will live in a volunteer house on site this can hold up to 10 people, their are mixed dorm rooms with a large living space to relax, you will work 11 days on and then 4 days off.

You can volunteer at the project site in Patagonia/Chile between 2 weeks and 4 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. South America Inside will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
$281/week
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with South America Inside during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
