New Hope For Disadvantaged Young Women

Arusha, Tanzania show on map

Young woman & mothers are getting trained to be tailors to live an independant life. This project is part of an NGO which was founded by a former street child.

The Project

“New Hope for Street Youth of Arusha” was founded by the Tanzanian Ayubu Kazana in 2013. Ayubu's parents died when we was very young and he had to grow up on his own. He got his primary education in Kenya and only went to secondary school in Tanzania. Currently he is working as a medical representative and wants to support children and youth in need. The German association "Hilfe für Afrika Hilden e.V." ("Help for Africa") under Engelbert Kremers supported the young adults with health insurance, renting land and an office and donated sewing machines.

Ayubu is also supervising two other projects within the NGO. "New Hope For Disadvantaged Young Men" and "New Hope For Disadvantaged Children" can be found on Volunteer World as well.
