We face an rapid changing building culture, due to modern influences, climate change and environmental policies. These factors lead to poor building qualities and living situations. This results to poverty and disastrous consequences for the environment.
The multifaced position requires that you as volunteer, to be in charge of marketing activities, communication, general administration and basic HR. You will connect with new partners and overview our public relations. The placement will enable you to work in different areas. You'll provide the right tools and methods to be used by the staff to lead them in the right direction as the NGO strategy describes in order to make sure the staff can work as efficient and focused as possible.

This position is perfect for those wanting to strengthen their experience and expertise when looking for a career in development cooperation. The position gives insight into all of the many facets of the running and expanding of a development organisation.
Mostly you will work in our office in Moshi, and sometimes in our Zanzibar office. You will meet partners in the Kilimanjaro region and sometimes accompanies to construction site to see how it's going and discover how to raise funds for the programs first hand.
You will be able to work side by side with the founder of the organization, the financial Manager, the NGO partner organisations and all the interesting people that cross our path. You will not only help the organization, but also be able to learn and experience to be part of the interesting and exciting processes that a growing organization is going through.

There are lots of things to do in the Kilimanjaro region:
Your accommodation is reserved at the C-re-aid house. All C-re-aid interns will stay together in this large house, where also the office of C-re-aid is. The accommodation offers shared rooms; there is a kitchen with fridge (where you can store and prepare your own food), 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a communal area and the office. Laundry service and cleaning lady are included. You’ll find everything you need here and surely feel at home.
Our house is safe and secure and offers on site security throughout the night.
Manage the fundraising for the organization
You will assist in evaluations of past projects and selection future projects, designing and construct new projects and assisting the guidance of students of architecture
