Your contribution

Typical tasks include light construction and renovation such as

  • painting
  • repairing chairs
  • tables
  • building walls or toilets.

The tasks will depend on the local conditions and what is needed at the time.

The Location

Myanmar or Burma was not a touristic destination for a long time; however, recently it has gained popularity among tourists. And although many areas of the country are still closed to foreigners, most major cities and attractions are waiting to be explored.

This is a country, which has preserved its traditions and culture and is a wonderful authentic place to discover. Influenced deeply by the most prevalent religion, Buddhism, as well as by colonisation, Myanmar has ties with its neighbouring countries - India, China and Thailand, and many ethnic minorities. Mandalay, the second-largest city and the last royal capital of the country, is a favourite destination for its great number of attractions.
