For volunteers hoping to learn about shona culture, participating in a Zimbabwean immersion program is the way to go. Your classes will be taught completely in English.
About the Program
We offers summer community service trips for students who are looking for adventure travel and community service along with cultural and language immersion. Students can be part of a 4-week program in Zimbabwe. They will work with the Beulah Heights School and 78 less privileged children within Mutare and as a construction worker.

The volunteer placement area is safe and secure to accommodate volunteers and most of the community members are friendly to volunteers and have hosted many missionaries from oversea at the school.
The program start with in orientation where you explore the lnyati Eco Game Reserve and Mukuvisi Woodlands on an adventure, canoeing, sight seeing, and mountain climbing lnyanga Forest. You'll bond with your group and prepare for a life-changing immersion experience in the rolling hills in Rusape and Mutare for the service and homestay portion of your program.
