Special Needs Summer Camp

NGO "A ruota libera" takes their special needs kids to a summer camp in July in Roccamonfina, beautiful national park near Naples.

"A Ruota Libera Onlus" is a NGO founded in Naples in 2007 to support the empowerment of young adults with different kinds of disabilities; it aims to offer them opportunities to socialize, better integrate themselves into the community and develop their skills. A Ruota Libera's main strength is its dedicated team of social workers, psychologists and volunteers; they offer daily their professional support to the young adults and their families, helping them to address the complex needs and the challenges that people with disabilities face. All of this in a comfortable, safe and familiar environment.

A Ruota Libera organizes the summer camp as a conclusion of the activities of the year; the camp takes place in a facility in the countryside called "La casa di Anna", situated in the beautiful Regional Park of Roccamonfina, in the heart of the Campania region.

Volunteers could support operators in taking care of the guests and help in transporting them outdoor making them take part at the different activities. Volunteers can support, partecipate or teach in artistic, creative and recreative activities.
