Sports Coach

Train our local boys and girls soccer teams and support them during the matches on weekends.

Dream Africa Care Foundation (DACF) started the soccer project in 2010 with some volunteers who were interested in sports.  This was to occupy children after school instead of making them loiter about in the society.  This project was mainly for boys but later in 2014, Dream Africa partnered with Believe Elijah (Coach Little) who is a refreree and coach by profession and has a lot of passion for sports but needed support. DACF agreed that coach little coaches the team. He is also the project co-ordinator. Coach Little also introduced a girls team

The sports project trains children and teenagers both, males and females who have the passion for soccer and other sports activities.  These children meet at a pack where they are coached by local and foreign volunteers in playing football and other sports activities.  They play football matches in different towns and cities.

The project has about 200 boys and 120 girls who are grouped by ages.  The team has the under 7, under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15 and under 17.  The age range is between 6 years to 19 years.

In this project you will help to train the teams and implement training sessions to improve their talent. On weekends you can go with them to matches in different towns and cities in Ghana to support them.

As a volunteer you will assist the coach with training the kids. You can implement special training methods if you want to. On weekends you can travel with the team to matches all over Ghana. The training takes place in the afternoon from Tuesday to Friday.
