Sports manager

Provide leadership and support our Coaches in conducting sports tournaments and leagues and managing sports clubs


 The role of Sports Manager will be to

  • Develop sporting programs and yearly/term plans
  • Coaching football clubs
  • Develop linkages with strategic partners in sports
  • Equip coaches with club management skills
  • Ensure adequate planning and carry out sport tournaments and leagues
  • Hold monthly meetings and monitor sporting activities in the target schools
  • Monitor and evaluate all coaches and their activities
  • Ensure registration of all the participants of sports clubs and members and that all their records and databases are available in the office
  • Liaise with the Elimu Savings Fund in reaching out to the parents and encourage savings among children Education Officer to initiate Parents Sports Association

Free-time activities

As you provide leadership you will be required to mentor the current leaders. Conducting regular meetings to ensure continours football for social impact trainings, monitoring ongoing leagues and tournaments, providing and mentoring the coaches, setting up a football for social impact academy, creating databases for all players and developing methods of monitoring the performances of players

Transport: $ 100 lump sum
Supporting volunteer direct activities: $ 100 lump sum
Accomodation services: $ 0

Above 12 weeks
Meals per week: $ 70
Transport: $ 240 lump sum
Supporting volunteer direct activities: $ 1500
Accomodation services (e.g. cleaning etc): $ 800 lump sum

Visa, flights, travel insurance or vaccinations are NOT included in the program fees.

Airport Pickup

We can pick you at the airport, host you for one or two nights in Nairobi and then direct you to the project sight in Rapogi, Migori County


The accomodation is in Rapogi town within a homestead. We have a guest house comprising two bedrooms, and a seating room, bathroom outside the main house. Previously, we have comfortably accommodated both local and international volunteers here

You can volunteer at the project site in Nairobi/Kenya between 2 weeks and 50 weeks. Please note that the above shown program fees are estimated and subject to exchange rate fluctuations. CREATA will tell you your final price during your application process.
Average Fees
Deposit (15%)
The deposit is simply to reserve your volunteer placement. Payments are handled by PayPal, our trusted global payment provider. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can also pay using a credit card.
Final Payment (85%)
Your final payment will be agreed with CREATA during the application process. Common solutions are either via bank transfer or a cash payment at the project site.
